2021

June/July: Laura Owens and Greg Gillespie went on three dates, after which he told her he did not want to continue dating.

After one of the aforementioned dates, Laura and Greg engaged in sexual intercourse. Eleven days after their sexual encounter, Laura informed Greg that she was pregnant. Around this time, she also told Greg that she would let him have control of the outcome of the pregnancy if he committed to being in a relationship with her. Greg alleged that Owens stalked, threatened and harassed him during this time, including emailing his HR department. Source: OOP excerpt included below.

August 6: Laura texted a photo of an ultrasound to Greg depicting her alleged pregnancy with twins.[1] After receiving the ultrasound from Laura, Greg ran it through a reverse Google image search which revealed that was identical to a sonogram found on a blog post from 2015[2]. Greg then texted Laura a link to the blog along with two videos of Laura waiting outside Greg's house when he was sick with Covid[1]. The two discussed the ultrasound and the blog over a phone call that Greg recorded.

August 11: Laura filed a civil lawsuit against Greg, alleging Abortion Coercion, Domestic Violence, and Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress (IIED).

August 12: Greg filed a Order of Protection (OOP) against Laura. He alleged that Laura attempted to get him fired from his job in retaliation for breaking up with her.
