After that was denied, Laura M. Owens filed a civil harassment suit against Dave for his continued coverage on his YouTube page and podcast, Bachelor Rush Hour. Owens and Neal both retained counsel.
On February 7th, 2024, the day before the scheduled LA county court appearance to discuss the case, Owens dismissed her harassment suit against Dave Neal.
